Exciting New Beanie Baby News at Harrods

 

Harrods is pleased to announce the launch of the Harrods 2007 limited edition Ty Beanie Baby bear, on Saturday 3rd November from 9am in the Trains and Remote Control Cars room in the Toy Kingdom. The launch of the exclusive bear will coincide with the annual Christmas Parade which takes place outside the store from 8am. As such, there will be a queuing system in place from door 10 on Hans Road.

 

The new Harrods Ty Beanie Baby bear, whose design is a closely guarded secret, will be on sale exclusively in the Harrods Toy Kingdom from 9am. As per tradition, we will not reveal the exciting design we have planned for customers this year – but we will let you in to a secret! Following the success of last year’s launch, there are 2 other Harrods exclusive Beanie Babies being launched this year – one to celebrate Harrods Russian themed fairy tale Christmas, and one which has been the result of the special partnership between Harrods and Ty.

 

The snow white Russian Beanie Baby bear, with gold embroidered ‘Harrods’ on his chest, is exclusive to Harrods in the UK and is only alternatively available in Russia. He has a Russian flag on his nose, and wears a ribbon around his neck. This Beanie Baby is being retired immediately, so get him while you can!

 

The other Harrods exclusive (and the one that we are most excited about) is the ‘Timeless Luxury’ Beanie Baby that TY has developed exclusively with Harrods. This is simply the most divine Beanie Baby he ever designed. As a one off, TY has strayed from his roots, and designed a luxury Beanie Baby that will retail at £9.95. Collectors and customers alike will love her on sight! Named Sheba, after the Queen of Sheba, this Beanie is made from a special fabric which makes her softer and fluffier than any previous Beanie Baby. This stunning Beanie comes complete with 2008 embroidered on her foot, a Harrods green ribbon, and is finished with the Ty heart tag in her ear. This Beanie is incredibly exclusive, as Ty has no plans to repeat this project – making her a true one off! We hope you will love her as much as we do.
