New UK Exclusive -
DEWI Y DDRAIG (Update)
Following yesterday's news on the new upcoming UK Exclusive Dewi Y Ddraig,
we have received the following additional information shared by Richard:
Hi Doodle,
I thought your readers might like to know that the new UK exclusive
Classic, Dewi Y Ddraig is identical in design to Y Ddraig Goch, the
original red dragon. The flag is in exactly the same place as his
earlier cousin, with the point of difference between the two being the
colour. 'Dewi' has a green body but has a wonderful cream
contrast chest - he really is a stunning piece. I spoke with Ty
today and they are expecting the dragon into their warehouse this
Friday, 1st May. As soon as I receive my order, I 'll be sure to
send you an 'in hand' series of photos.
Regarding the name 'Dewi', it is true that the literal translation into
English of the name is David. However, the name isn't meant to be
translated quite so literally. It transpires the Dragon is named after a
Welsh saint who you can learn more about by following the link below.

New UK Exclusive -
DEWI Y DDRAIG
Earlier this month, two of our readers (Steve and Lee) from the UK shared
news of a new anticipated UK Exclusive Classic and Key-Clip. Richard now
shares further information and writes:
Hi
There - Exciting news from Ty in the UK!! The long awaited new Uk exclusive
Green Dragon Classic and Key chains are only days away. They are due into Ty's
warehouse towards the end of this week and will be shipping immediately.
I can also reveal that the name of these items will be DEWI Y DDRAIG which
translates to David The Dragon, according to my trusty Welsh to English
translator. No pictures are available yet but I will certainly send one in
as soon as my order is received. With the start of the tourist season upon
us (though it is pouring with rain here in the UK at the moment), advanced
orders for this product have been very high with many destined for Welsh tourist
spots.
However, I am happy to take orders from
anyone outside the UK through my website,

Ty, says the 2009 ground hog stuffed animal
will be their last. The animals
were hugely popular when they were first sold in 2003, but Ty says since
then, the demand has dropped. The only place you can buy the
2009 Phil beanie baby is at the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce, or on
their website. They are $6.00 plus tax. Officials say they're
selling fast, and they don't know if they will have any left on Groundhog
Day.

Hi, Just a small update on the information that
you have received about the new Green Dragons from Steve. They
will only be done in the Buddy and Key Chain sizes and they will have the
Welsh Flag on them. They are due into the UK at the end of April and
will probably be at us retailers in the first week of May.

New Ty Release?
One of our readers, Steve from the UK, shares the
following:
Hello Deb,
I don't know if you have already heard this but my local retailer has
told me when her TY rep came to visit he told her that at the end of
this month there is going to be a new dragon released. It will be
green, the same shape and syle as 'Y Ddraig Goch' (although he didn't
know if it would have the Welsh flag on it or not) and would be released
in Beanie and Classic size.
Hope this isn't old news!

year and last year currently for sale. The odd thing, is the little brown
