To whom it may concern: my name is Rosemary and I was wondering if you could post the following information. .... 'Smash' Exclusive Introduced
On July 29th (included in the August product releases), Ty announced a new bear 'Smash', a U.S. Open Bear available at Ty retailers. Today Ty has announced another 'version' of the Beanie Baby, a U.S. Open Exclusive Bear available for purchase on the U.S. Open website. (Shown below is a comparison of these two different versions, including an image of the hang tag of the Exclusive version. The poem is the same for both Beanies.)

Introduced as the August 2005 BBOTM, 'Rambles' is an adorable dog. And it appears to be a close match to 'Snookums', introduced by Ty on July 29th in the August releases. Sal from Sal's Attic has posted photos and information on a 'Curls' test set she purchased Memorial Day weekend, 2004. Apparently this set will not be marketed. That's quite unfortunate, as they are all adorable, and one for several different occasions. (Ty did introduce the Beanie Baby 'Curls' on December 30, 2004. We're back! Last minute decisions sometimes make for wonderful get-aways. We decided late Tuesday to head to the Coast for a few days of fun and relaxation. The weather was beautiful, and it gave us a chance to spend some fun times with friends and family. Therefore, this news page had not been updated since Tuesday evening. Our special thanks to Marilyn (for the photos) and to Susan (who kept a 'log news file' to help keep the sequence of events in line). Below are the main events that happened while we were away.
