Hi Deb ,,, It's me again! Well, I got curious as to how we are supposed to be able to order the Chocolate Chip Beanie, or even if we can. I checked various sites, and didn't see any clues. So I started searching and came across the Jack Hammer Baseball promo schedule. It looks like a 'First Midwest Bank' giveaway yesterday at a Jack Hammer game.   Not sure what that' about. Any idea?   It doesn't look like 'Midwest Airline' and I don't see anything on that site. The promotional schedule for this baseball team reads:

After reading Pam k's post on Ty Talk, I went to my local Borders to see if any were there. No one knew anything about them, until finally a supervisor said she thinks they got in beanies and they were a promotion with a book (she didn't say if it was a particular book, or any child's book), and that they would be put out with Halloween things. I asked when that would be and she said they were getting some Halloween themed items out this week, but that she didn't know when they were putting those out. Agh!!! I'm to check back again later in the week. I'll also check other Borders around the area. Thanks Pam for posting this! I'm excited about it.

I just called customer service at the U.S. Open shop because I'd ordered & then canceled by email on Friday evening as the news changed. The lady who answered the phone was quite definite that the second offering of Deuce has the same tag as the retail one & not their special U.S. Open tag. So I cancelled my order. So what's going on with 'unannounced' Beanie Babies lately? Ty is not introducing some of them on the site; collectors spot them (either online or at a store) Now it appears that Harrods UK is selling a Beanie Baby named 'Packer'. Well, the 'unexpected' just keeps coming. We have been sent the following email from 4-H Supply:

.... Funky and Groovey Photos!
Shortly before the official introduction of the August Ty products, we had heard 'rumors' that we would see "a bit of a twist" with some of the new Beanies. Well, 'Funky' and 'Groovey' definitely are. What bright and colorful Beanie Babies! John (the phoenix) shares photos of these two new bears, with a slightly added touch to his pictures.

Doodle's note: On the Exclusive Beanie Babies list I have the retirement date listed as June 23, 2006. (The Dallas Gift Show was June 23-26.) This Beanie quietly appeared on Ty's retired list, with no official announcement. If you know the exact date it appeared on the list, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you! Added Note: I have changed the retirement date to June 26, 2006 ... We have received the following emails:
