It's Almost Tyme
It's hard to believe that the end of August is
almost upon us. Personally, that's quite ok with me, as this month
has been our hottest month on record. With 25+ days at a
temperature over 90F (seven over 100F), and 26 days without rain, the
drought HAS to end soon. We just keep thinking fall and very
thankful to be able to stay cool inside. With month-end around the
corner, it's almost tyme for some Ty retirements. And for
next month's new products? ... Ty introduced Halloween Beanie Babies,
Buddies, and Halloweenie Beanies last year around this tyme.

tad slow right now, perhaps the pot is only simmering and will be
brought to the front burner soon!

personally brings to my mind some type of Beanie softwear (or at least
computer related). Scott Wehrs of Ty visited the Ty Girlz Party on Ms. Janie's message board last
night, and wrote the following:
Here is a little secret

Bean Watcher - Leave of Absence
Being a webmaster can be quite time consuming, especially with a full
time job and family commitments. Most Beanie webmasters (myself
included) help keep collectors informed with the latest news and Beanie
happenings as a hobby. Thanks to an anonymous reader who
informs us that Bean Watcher is taking a leave of absence for a few
weeks. Working a 40/50 hour work week myself, along with family
interactions and other life necessities, I can totally understand the
need to take a break some times.

Hi Doodle, I haven’t seen Thunderbolt the brown horse with white spots or Charmer the purple-ish unicorn (just retired) or any of the NASCAR beanies at my local Hallmark in Tacoma, WA. Do you happen to know if these were ever shipped to the west coast? Do you have any readers who might have seen them in Western Washington? My Hallmark is so far behind on shipments, they haven’t even seen the batch from I believe May, that had Deputy the dog and a Unicorn pluffy---I have been watching for these as well. There are some key clips too, wow, I didn’t realize I had such a list I haven’t been able to locate. I see them on your website, but most of those readers are either in the South or East coast.

I do know, in our area (the East Coast) ... at least at our local
Hallmark stores, one store doesn't carry any Ty products at all now, and
the other, at a huge mall, did not order the NASCAR Beanies.
That's a big disappointment to us, being NASCAR fans. Are Beanies
becoming tough to find again? It reminds me a bit of the searches
several years ago, back in the 90's, facing the scarcity and the
challange!
