... Ty Event at Brookfield Zoo
Last month, we shared news of a Ty Beanie Baby giveaway on July
26 and 27 at the Brookfield Zoo.
(Brookfield Zoo is located at First Avenue between
Ogden Avenue and 31st Street in Brookfield, Illinois, just 14 miles west
of downtown Chicago). The first 4,000 children (ages 11 and under)
were given 'Snocap' the arctic fox, with a commemorative card. A
reader of Ms. Janie has shared news, with photos posted, from the event.

bears, including USA shipping. I wasn't aware of the Portsmouth

... Warner Rolls Out to Reopen Bike Path
Beanie
Babies billionaire Ty Warner, who makes lots of money but few
public appearances, showed up briefly Friday to inaugurate a public bike
path he spent $500,000 to rebuild near his Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel
in Montecito.
"Let's test it out and see how it works," he declared with a
smile as he hopped aboard a fat-tired cruiser bike provided by his
aides.
He then awkwardly donned a blue helmet admitting "I haven't worn
these as much as I should" and pedaled off into the midday sun,
cheered on by dozens of people at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Reagan. It was stated to be part of a fund-raising effort

On Monday, Beanie
Babies mogul Ty Warner is expected to unveil a new bear
that pays homage to President Ronald Reagan -- it's part
of a fund-raising effort by the Santa Barbara Navy League
on behalf of America's newest aircraft carrier, the USS
Ronald Reagan, set to be commissioned July 12.
On Wednesday, radio talk-show host Mike Reagan said he
