Well, here's a bit of interesting information. I noticed when Ty
introduced 'Slush', it is listed as a "Beanie Baby Key-Clip". I
actually even called it a Coyote Beanie earlier. I'm not a big Ty
Classic collector but did think it looked familiar. Anyway, Slush
is actually a Classic, with a Key-Clip now. I looked on your
key-clip page, and on the Ty site, and don't see a Classic Key-Clip --
so a first maybe? Thks

You are correct - Slush is a Ty Classic; and the Slush key-clip is
listed under Beanie Babies - noted as a "dog".

also wanted to mention that the new M.C. Beanies (M.C. Beanie VII and

a different color ribbon. The "nap" looks a little longer too.
Oh, and the hamster -- I hope that's what it is. It may be a
guinea pig the more I look at it. What's cool is there's also a
key clip as well. (I love hamsters and have some wishful thinking
;-) I am attaching a photo, what do you think?
Thanks for sharing. It definitely
looks like a guinea pig to me. It's brown and white with a guinea
pig face! My kids used to have one that looked exactly like that
one - his name was Cookie (Snowball was solid white.) Ah, what
memories!

Is adding the style number to the
new Beanie Baby tush tag an up-and-coming thing? Daniel (Beanie
Universe) share news of a new addition - He writes:
Hi Doodle! I got my Dancy in the mail today and noticed
something different on the Tush Tag. Ty is now putting the Style
Number above the Name. It goes: 44113 and then: Dancy. I took a
picture below but it came out blurry, though you get the idea.
The tush tag seems longer too now.

reportedly worth up to $6 billion, diversified a bit, from understuffed
plush cuddlies to posh hotels.

total number of Exclusives. There are over 400 Exclusive

(Silent) Release
The Exclusive Beanie Baby 'Coco Presley' quietly
appeared at a Walgreens one day, unannounced by Ty. Two color
versions are available, orange and brown, with four (so far) different
hang tags (showing a different image of Elvis). Today this Beanie
has silently appeared on Ty's current Beanie Baby listing, with no
official introduction. It states "only available at Walgreens".

soooo excited 'cuz I LUV CHOCOLATE AND BEANIES. Then
when I read your note on Wednesday about the Coco Elvis Beanie and
Hershey, my mouth started drooling for the new Reese's Elvis Cup.
I'm definitely off to find the new Beanies -- hopefully both versions --
as well as the new Reese's cup!!!!! Oh, I love Elvis too.

More on 'Coco Presley' ... Did you Know?
One never knows what Ty may stir up next in the
'Beanie pot'. What's interesting is the latest appearance of 'Coco
Presley' Beanie Baby at Walgreens. You may or may not be aware
that one of Elvis Presley's favorite candies was the Reese's Peanut
Butter Cup. In fact, he loved a ripe banana and peanut butter
sandwich, on white bread and pan toasted with butter. To mark the 30th
anniversary of Elvis Presley's death in August, The Hershey Co. has
recently introduced the limited edition Reese's Elvis Cup, a peanut
butter and banana creme version of its Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
This candy version hits store shelves this month.

Race for Life - CHERISH
Sue Owen shares the following:
Hello,
Tomorrow I will be taking part in the Cancer Research UK event Race for
Life, for my 5th year. Many such events have been taking place at
different venues around UK already and tomorrow's event is in Reading.
Thousands of women and girls will be walking and/or running 5km in aid
of cancer research, while remembering loved ones who have lost their
lives to cancer - or better still, celebrating their survival.
CHERISH is commemorating this event with the 4th CHERISH Race for Life
bear. I've tried to keep the look of the set similar so that it will sit
well with any others that you may have bought in previous years;
however, this year the bear is blue rather than a shade of pink - Unity
- and wears a smart printed polo shirt in addition to the specially
created CHERISH Race for Life 2007 medal. ....
All
except 3 of the 30 bears will be available initially from the CHERISH
website (www.cherishonline.co.uk)
from midday (12 noon UK time) on Sunday 15th July. Tag numbers 1-3 will
be auctioned later on eBay with the addition of the complete Terry Fox
Coin Collector Card - this includes the Terry Fox one dollar coin as
well as the entire set of 2005 Canadian circulation coins, all presented
in an card folder with information in English and French about Terry
Fox.
All profits from
the sale of these special Race for Life sets will be donated to Cancer
Research UK through Race for Life. I have set up an online sponsorship
page where you can sponsor me in this event, if you wish. This is not as
payment for the bears but a donation direct to the charity. However, if
you want to make sure of being able to buy a bear on Sunday, please
sponsor me before the sale of bears begins at midday (UK time). That

Today Ty officially introduces the koala Beanie
Buddy 'Koowee', an Australia/New Zealand Exclusive. It's
counterpart, 'Koowee' Beanie Baby (also an Australia/New Zealand
Exclusive) was introduced on July 28, 2004, and is still listed as
current on Ty's website.

by a modern town, but it contains a 17th Century manor house -

Baby ... 'Niklas'. What's interesting is the official Newsflash
introduction states Niklas is a 'German Exclusive'. However, the
current listing on Ty's website list this new bear as a 'UK Exclusive'.
