 ...  New Upcoming Beanie Babies ('Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!")

Hi Doodle, I check your site often, and thought this might be something your readers / collectors may want to know.  I have a four year old who will love these new Beanies coming out soon.  I saw a picture on Cindy's Beans website and began further research.  There are three up and coming "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!" (Nick, Jr.) Beanie Babies that are TOO cute.  The site I checked out ... a Wow Wow Wubbzy website ... shows 3 Ty Beanie Babies.  It states retailers Walgreens, CVS, Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Hallmark as accounts that will be carrying them.  There is also a Ty Plush Gift Pack (a DVD and Beanie Baby) that the site says will be available at Sam's Club.  Just click on the bar and scroll down.  It just says "Fall 2008" for the gift pack.  Maybe Ty will introduce these new Beanies soon!!  I hope so.  Have a great weekend, and thanks again for all your time in keeping us informed with the latest.  You're the greatest.  Sandra

As August (quickly) approaches, there is the anticipation of upcoming Ty introductions.  Perhaps some Exclusives or Holiday-themed Beanies?  We shall soon see.

Of interest and worth taking note, there apparently is an upcoming Cancer Awareness Beanie Baby (bear).  Rene writes:
Hi Doodle == As you know, last July Ty introduced 'Giving' Beanie Baby and Key-clip for Breast Cancer Awareness.  I did a little research on eBay and saw a new bear you might want to look at.  It looks VERY similar to 'Giving, maybe a little pinker and a pink bow on it's chest; apparently available mid-August.   If you want to take a look at it = click here.  Thanks, Rene

On June 3rd, we reported  ....  "Currently available Beanies (including Key-Clips) in Ty Store are: Swiper Beanie Baby, Gary the snail Key-Clip, Dora Fairytale Beanie Baby, Mr. Krab's Key-Clip, Heartland (BB2.0), McLucky (BB2.0), and Hutches (BB2.0).   Of course, there are still the NASCAR, Boblins, Nickelodeon, etc.   I just noticed several changes in Ty Store under the 'Beanie Babies' listing"

As of Friday (at least when we noticed it anyway), under the "Beanie Baby" caption, the only ones available are Heartland, McLucky, and Hutches.  Swiper and Dora Fairytale Beanie Babies, as well as the key-clips, are no longer available through Ty Store (although they are still listed as 'current' on Ty's site.)

 ...   Brookfield Zoo - Beanie Baby Giveaway (July 12-13)
The Brookfield Zoo in Chicago and Ty are partnering for the Zoo's annual Beanie Baby Days this weekend - Saturday and Sunday (July 12-13).  The first 4,000 children (ages 11 and under) to enter the zoo each day will receive a ticket that can be redeemed for a Beanie Baby.  Guests can also participate in fun activities and shop the Ty Superstore.  For photos and more on this event, visit the Brookfield Zoo website

... Thanks for sharing, Sandra ... These sound like cute holiday Ty products, as you say.  I especially like the Christmas-themed ones.  We should hopefully see these introduced on Ty's website within the coming months.

So what's the magic in Tyland? (see July 2nd news below).  Today Ty has posted a magic show performed by Snootz, a "super-duper, amazing, spectacular show" with the introduction of the new BB2.0 Beanies.  The first couple of "tricks" resulted in a dinosaur and a shoe (now that would be an interesting Beanie!).  Clicking on each Beanie converts it into a 3D image.  So  maybe our 'magic idea' was right?  Click on the link to view and enjoy the Show.

Today on Ty's website, on the Beanieland News update, Snootz attempts a couple of magic tricks.  At the end of the video, it states "the magic starts this weekend".  Now what do YOU think that means?  (I do recall Snootz reporting a couple of months ago that all the Beanies would move around in 3D this summer.)   Just say "abracadabra", wave a magic wand, and see what you come up with :) ... OR wait just a couple of days and see the 'magic' on Ty's site.
