Ty® Punkies™
As of January 24, 2007, all
Punkies are "retired".
Punkies™ were originally introduced at
the Dallas Gift Show (June 22-26, 2002).
A retailer report
was posted on Ms. Janie's website on June 22nd, with
an official announcement on Ty's website on June 28th.
Punkies fabric is called 'Ty Tips' ... the touch that feels like silk !
Tush Tag and Hang Tag
Information
There are two
generations of hang tags, and two generations of tush tags.
At least ... as far as we know until the last introduction of Punkies of
9/30/03.
The first
generation hang tag has the words "Handmade in China" (on the
first two releases, see below).
The second generation hang tag does
not have the "Handmade in China" (on the remaining releases of of this
date.)
The first generation tush tag has "CE" printed in smaller
letters than the second generation, which a different letter font and
larger letters.
If you encounter tags other than reported, I would love to hear from you.
